MY TESTIMONY

Hi I'm Alyson ! I've been an athlete basically my entire life playing basketball, volleyball and running track and field since I was in elementary school. I had dreams of one day running track in University, but I suffered a severe knee injury that required major surgery when I was 14. Unfortunately, I never trusted my knee after that, so I stopped playing sports altogether.

I took up working out occasionally simply as a sort of release and to stay active. For the next couple of years I tried different careers, looking to find another passion to compare with my love of sports. I became more and more interested in the fitness industry throughout this time and realized that I could actually make a career out of it. I decided to apply for a job at Goodlife Fitness, got my certification and my fitness career began. I've been actively training since 2014, and over the past 5 years I've gained the experience and knowledge through my own trial and error with different diets, and styles of training to now be at the point where I have the skill set to help all of you with your own journeys. I believe that living a healthy balanced life leads to better you, and I want to help as many people as possible lead healthier, happier lives :)

What gives me the drive to do what I do in the fitness industry is all of YOU. If it wasn't for the amazing women who trust me with their fitness journeys, I wouldn't have the love and passion that I do for fitness. There is more pressure now than ever on women to have the perfect appearance, and I just want all of you beautiful ladies to know that you are perfect just the way you are. Fitness is so much more than the physical aspect. Through my platform and with my programs, what I want more than anything else is for women to feel good in their own skin and learn to love the reflection staring back at them. Creating a healthier, happier you is what I strive for all women; so love the skin that you're in ladies, and just work on becoming the best version of YOU !
